Martyn Dalman Ltd is a long established family business of tree surgeons working from Spinney Cottage Brownshill Green Rd. Coventy. We have tendered the needs of tree owners in the West Midlands for over 25 years.
Our aim is to maintain the reputation we have for a tidy and professional job with emphasis on Tidy (clearing the site on completion of the work) and Professional (leaving tree with it’s integrity intact). All resulting debris from the work is recycled. The chippings, after composting for 3–4 months are bagged up and sold on for applying as mulch and laying on footpaths etc. The timber is either cut and split for firewood for open or enclosed domestic fires, and cut smaller and sold in handy net bags for patio heaters / chimenea, BBQs.
Suitable logs are processed through our own saw mill to produce planks to make our own garden furniture, bird nesting boxes, dog kennels and hen houses etc.
Large oak trunks and branches are cut to produce green timber beams for construction purposes. The fruit wood i.e. apple, pear, cherry etc. of which we have a fair stock currently seasoning, can be cut into blocks for the wood turners. We also save suitable stumps and decayed branches for sale as feature logs some of which are already colonised by fungi other fauna and flora, (our rescue battery hens love them!) The saw dust from all these processes is available free of charge for pet bedding, rabbits, chicken etc. (bring your own bag).
We are of course covered by public and professional indemnity insurance copies of which can be made prior to any work commencing.
